Software Competition

Knitters, crocheters, spinners, crafters: I need your help. I know someone writing knitting chart software. I am watching it as it develops and let me tell you, it’s got it all. I am very excited to see it finished. The problem is that we need a name. We’re stumped.

So here’s the competition! Leave a suggestion in the comments before the end of the Ravelympics and if someone comes up with one that we use, they get a free copy of the software. Exciting stuff!

(Ravelympics end Sunday so I’m going to say until midnight Sunday 28th).

  1. I quite like Knitify, but I’m biased.

    I also like Chartify.

Also, David would LOVE to help with testing, in apology for his rude last suggestion.

  2. ChartEx
    ChartZ
ChartRuse (kind of a play on “Chartreuse” – which is a hideous drink but a cool colour!)
DeCharts (now, I’m just going off on a word-play tangent: Decartes?)
    Hip2BSq
    Chart-geek

  3. ChartWiz
    ChartNet
    ChartIt

Of course, you’ll hafta play it against product names that may already exist. Best of luck! I look forward to seeing it when it’s unveiled.
