Pattern: Yoke Detail Sweater from Coastlines, by Debbie Bliss.
Yarn: Pure Silk, 7 skeins (I made it longer in the body and sleeves).
Needles: 4mm.
Modifications: Well, I knit the body and sleeves in the round. The sleeves and body parts have raglan shaping so that the back comes up higher than the front. It worked out really well, but it meant that after working in the round, I had to knit all four parts flat and then sew them up. It was pretty stupid but I couldn’t figure out a way to work it otherwise. In hindsight, I could have simply joined the sleeves and body together and worked some short rows on the back before starting the yoke.

Hi Aileen,
I love your sweater and I am trying to make my own but am having aproblem. I am making the sleeves and for the left sleeve it says at the bottom of the paragraph to continue in st st for 25(13,17,9) rows. I am the largest so I don’t understand why I would be knitting for 9 rows when the small is knitting for 25? Any help would be appreciated.

Gorgeous sweater. But, you have scared me. I am knitting this in the round also. I have finished the sleeves and body, but have not continued (working up the guts to do the hard part). So, why did you have trouble? What am I up against? If you could answer this for me – wow – you’d be my hero! (on ravelry, I am mansjackson) Thanks.
And, to Stacey – that question is answered in the latest issue of Debbie Bliss Mag. It isn’t a typo, the larger sizes really do take less rows. It has something to do with the rate of inc rows or something. Weird, huh?
