I have had a few loose ends that needed tying up before we all get back to normality. Let me present to you… the black socks. I am never knitting socks on 2mm needles ever again. Because of these suckers, I now own two partial and one complete set of 2mm sock needles.
…Some Jitterbug socks. It feels like ten years since I started these but Ravelry tells me it was only November. I got these finished up over New Years and they’re soft, comfy and colourful. What more could a girl want?
I finished Ice Queen a week or two ago but never got around to taking some snaps of it in action.
The stylish way to say, I need to wash my hair
I got back to Dublin yesterday evening to find my Winter issue of Interweave Knits arrived while I was away. I don’t know about you but it is really taking all my resolve not to cast on for this or this. You know, I haven’t finished a wearable sweater for myself in over four months (ok, but it feels like a long time). I dug out ole Gatsby Girl to finish it off only to find that I was missing the back piece. I know I knitted it! To my recollection, I had the back, front and most of one sleeve made. I eventually found the missing piece in the bottom of a shopping bag (?). Maybe I’ll finish it off to give myself a little oomph.
oooh, loving the socks. what color jitterbug is that?
I love the Ice Queen wimple (I call it a wimple but I’m not sure this is correct). It is one of my future projects.
Nice socks and I also like the Ice Queen!! I looked over your blog: your a great Knitter!!
Nice projects! Curious, could not see in the photo..did you put beads on your Ice Queen? I like the color you chose.
