Desperation Knitting

I got through everything – check in and security check in – about twenty minutes. I’ve met two different strangers and had some funny conversations. My taxi driver told me how he used to work in Premier Dairies (a factory that used to be down the road from my house but now has apartments on it). He loved how you could drink all the milk and eat all the icecream you wanted! This cracked me up. Another old lady reminded me to check the newspapers for coupons as I drank my hot chocolate.

But this, the most important part, is why I am writing here now: I got through security with my knitting. I sacrificed five projects for three and packed my most loved needles… and I got through! Yay!
