I keep wanting to make one for myself (I’ve made two so far for other people), but I’m going to hold out and make it with the recommended yarn when I finally get around to it.

I already read ahead and know the fate of the Gatsby Girl, but it’s a charming color (and the cables do look fantastic).

The alien heads will go faster now that the lace part’s done, but I love the look of the heads.

I can’t tell the color difference on Bliss, but I’ll take your word for it. It looks really pretty. 🙂

Is there still smoke coming off your needles? 😉

I know you couldn’t join the knitalong – I’ll link the members to your blog so they can see your great work!

Hoping to make it to Barnie’s in two weeks so maybe I’ll see you there?

Lisa

PS: If you find those seaming elves will you send them my way?

I also have to say that I quite like the colour difference on Bliss – it looks like it was done on purpose.

And Granny Smith – vvvvv exciting! But be warned – I finished a glove in KSH this weekend and it was done flat, and when I sewed it up, it was a complete bugger. It looks ok, but takes forever and a day to sew 🙁 Make sure you have at least a day to work on it…
